Grizzly G0548Z

Has anyone tried adding a similar baffle to something like the Grizzly G0548Z?  I am envisioning something that would go in the central section where the air comes in and maybe have a restricting ring on the top to induce the correct airflow. 

I am wondering if it makes sense to have a slope on the upper ring to keep dust from accumulating on top when the filter is agitated after it is shut off?
