New type of dust collector?

Thought this might be of some interest as it uses two different chambers to remove two sizes of dust (claimed). Certainly some interesting thinking went into it.

Yes Bernard, but if you look at the cost per pound, it is more attractive!!  And the shipping is free!! 😄😃😊

Nevertheless,, my shop will never see one of these beauties - I'd have to sell off all the tools in my shop to afford it, and when that was done I'd have no need for it!

I wonder if 2 drop slots of different sizes would work on the Thien style separator without too much loss of suction?  Just a thought.

I guess sort of, maybe on steroids.  My effort was to use the existing spin occurring in the pipes.  As soon as you start adding all those components, I imagine the frictional losses would be substantially higher.

I was thinking losses would be high.  No knowledge here just common sense, since one causes loss two would be more????
