Diameter and Height Question

I tried searching and only came up with posts about the proportion of the width of the cut-out for the wood chips to fall through and the diameter of the baffle. And that the cut-out width only affected the size of the chips that it would let fall through.

My proportional question has to do with the diameter of the baffle and the heght of the supports between the top and bottom of the baffle? Basically, does the height change with an increased/decreased diameter?

If this has been covered, please post a link to the thread.

Thanks,
Greg

there are no set rules . the larger the diameter the less resistance will be on the system and the lower the losses will be

the higher the seperater the more efficient it will be at seperating fine dust

I have over 4' of vertical clearance above my 55 gallon barrel.  I'm going with a 16" tall chamber.  But I did think what would happen if it went the full 4' high for a chamber :)
