Hello All,
The posting title sort of says it all: are there any of you who have had experiences with 6" diam ports with the Thien separator design? If so, can a 30 gallon metal garbage can be used or does the can need to be bigger?
I wish to make a 25 foot long 6" PVC run from the upstairs shop to the downstairs DC and wish to maximize the air flow using the larger 6" tubing. The Jet 2HP DC has a 6" port so I want to keep the entire run as large as possible, and this includes the Thien separator I wish to put ahead of the DC. Might be overkill, but this is my current thinking.
Thanks,
John
