I had a look about locally and one place had something close but not quite..
Looking at it again I think I can just put some 6" hose over it and seal it. The steel duct is about 160mm x 130 so the 6"tube should be able to deform to go over the top with minimal sealing required.
I just need to hop in to CAD and draw it up so I can cut it.
I am unsure about the plans though.. If I follow vawoodworks and pitbulls I know that the height will be just enough to accommodate the tube coming in, 4" in my case. I know the the slot going around 240 degrees with a 1 1/8th" width.
What I dont know is if there is a magic number for how far the outlet protrudes in to the middle? I will use 5" pipe coming out, how far should that go in to the top hat. From one picture it looks about 50%?
