Title: Is the dimension from slot to container critical?
Post by: Carpenter Mark on December 15, 2012, 06:39:19 PM
This may have already been answered  and I missed it but-
Is the dimension from the outside edge of the drop slot to the inside of the container critical? I ask because I have three different barrels I'd like to use and switch out while working to dump later, but they vary in diameter.
I'd attach a quick sketch but I can't figure out how to put in a .pdf so you'll have to click on it below....

I think I understand your drawing properly, and that dimension doesn't matter.

Perfect timing for this info.

I currently have my separator in a short 16" diameter cardboard barrel that I want to cut the bottom off and fit it to a taller 19 diameter barrel.
