Title: Can you efficiently scale this design down - ie..smaller can
Post by: glider on March 24, 2008, 10:01:41 PM
Very interesting design.  Like many with small shops I was wondering when operating with a shop vac - if your design could be scaled down to fit say a 5 gallon bucket?
Thanks, Steve

The problem w/ 5-gallon buckets is that the diameter of the top makes it difficult to use the fittings I use.  So you have to cobble something together, but then it can be trickly to connect the hoses.  So, it can be done, but you need to work on the host connection issue a little.

That 10 gal can isn't much bigger than a 5 gal bucket. I know all about small shops- building a kitchen in 2/3 of a 1 car. Well the kitchen is for inside the house  :D
