Title: Wynn or Penn State filters?
Post by: seajai on July 03, 2010, 01:35:24 PM
Anybody familiar with the canister filter sold by penn state? It looks like a direct fit on a 1200 Jet and it has a wiper blade inside to clean the pleats,  but doesn't have much for specs or what its made of.

PSI has some good stuff, but I have not heard anything good about their filters.

I am nothing but happy with my Wynn, but I have the spun bond. Don't get that 80/20 wet.

Now now, be nice. PSI has some stuff that is worthwhile, and some stuff that is real (expletive deleted)... Actually, I kind of see them at about the same level as Harbor Freight...

Wynn filter came yesterday. What a difference in performance over the bag! Money well spent. And my whole garage had that "new filter" smell when I fired up the DC.

I went with the Winn for my HF conversion and am very pleased with it.  Winn also provided superb service.  Their technician was generous with advice, the filter was well-packed, and I received it two days after I made the order.
