Title: My Shop Vac Build
Post by: WarrenB on February 01, 2008, 01:01:26 PM
Just finished Phil's baffle for my shop vac! You can see in the pictures that I used an old beer keg I had lying around for the can. This works great - Thank You Phil, donation to follow.

The pictures show the inside of the shop vac and it's hepa filter after about 2 hours of floor vacuuming and general shop use which would have plugged that filter before. Couldn't be happier!

(1) Thank you for your contribution, it is much appreciated.
(2) What did you use for weatherstripping there?
(3) Nice work.
(4) How hard is it to open a beer keg, and how thick is the material?

1. Your very welcome.
2. Just a closed cell rubber foam from the home center.
3. Thank You
4. Pretty easy, with an angle grinder. About 1/16'' maybe.
