My idea is to install a threaded rod up from the center of the Thien Baffle and have it pop out the top of the filter canister which can then be secured with a washer and wing nut. This way the canister can easily be removed for cleaning and inspection.
Am I missing something here?
Anyone thought of this...or tried this approach?
The turnbuckles seem difficult to undoo for maintainence.
Hadn't thought of it. But it sounds like a decent idea.
Without the baffle in place, the turnbuckles are no big deal. FWIW, I tap down my filter after every use, and have not had to blow it out, or clean it out at all yet.
I am on my 3rd emptying of the dust bin (55 gallon drum) and still have less than 2 cups of dust in the lower bag...
