Just a small note to everyone on the site that with your help and particularly Mr. Thien's I was able to complete a very efficient separator lid. First tests were very impressive. After planing several bf. of oak, I was very happy to find not one single planer shaving in the shop vac. A very light coating of fines was all that made it to the filter. Not even enough to dump out or even create a swirl. Excellent design. I will not bore with pictures of my creation as you all have seen many. Just let it be known that without this great bunch of minds, I would still be banging my filter on the fence post.
