Title: Questions
Post by: markedenfield on September 12, 2014, 07:35:58 AM
1. When using the DC system in a portable manner (on a cart) how do you keep the lid on the can when the hose to the tools gets accidently pulled?

2. Is my assumption correct that the drilled holes (bolts) between the lid and baffle "have" to exactly line up. If not, the portion of the baffle that has not had the 1.25" removed will move away from the side of the can and decrease vacuum pressure in the area between the baffle and lid (where you need it)?

3. Does the plywood lid alone create a tight enough seal or is there a large rubber seal or something I'm not seeing in the pictures?

Thanks

On the 2 I built, I have a snug fit from the lid to container and if the DC is running I cannot get the lid off. :)
